HOPE engages in a number of fundraising activities in Japan.

HOPE at the Hilton Week

This event, held simultanneaously in Nagoya, Tokyo and Osaka seeks to raise awareness of the needs in developing countries and the support to help the poor climb out of poverty. This event features a Travel and Leisure Auction onsite and via the Web.

HOPE Charity Galas

These prestigious events are the cornerstone of HOPE's strategy in raising support and public awareness for the world's extreme poor. In 2008 over 20 million Yen was raised in donations and sponsoship and nearly 1,000 people attended three events in Nagoya, Osaka and Tokyo. Learn more...

HOPE Global Challenge

HOPE Global Challenge is centred around a website that serves as a tool for people participating in sponsored challenges in aid of HOPE International Development. Each HOPE Global Challenge aims to raise money in support of one of many HOPE-International projects. The website enables participants to gather pledges from their friends and other networks. HOPE Auction

Leveraging off of the technology used for our annual HOPE at the Hilton week Travel & Leisure Auction, we are launching a 7/24/365 Community Auction Portal enabling people in Japan to sell their no-longer-needed stuff and/or conduct sayonara sales with part of the proceeds donated to HOPE Projects. HOPE Talks

During this period of economic despair and downturn, it is timely to spread a message of real optimism and hope. NPO HOPE Japan is known for its overseas programs focused on helping the extreme poor out of poverty, but HOPE is also involved in Global Education, informing and inspiring residents of Japan about sustainability and the difference they can make.
