We are a Christian-based organization that helps people in need everywhere. HOPE believes in the worth, equality and interdependence of all people as created and sustained by God. Following Christ's example, we extend assistance to the poorest of the poor without discrimination as to the religious beliefs of the beneficiaries.
HOPE International was founded in 1975 in Canada, and HOPE Japan was started in 2000 by a group of volunteers who wanted to respond to the earthquake in India. Since then, HOPE Japan has been involved in projects at Cambodia, the Philippines and India.
