Development and Recovery after War: Is it possible?

Speaker: Kim (Ly) Phealy, Director of HOPE Cambodia
Moderator: Lowell Sheppard, Asia Pacific Director, HOPE Japan
 
Ly will share her experience of being forcibly removed from the Capital city of Cambodia when she was only 12 years old. While many gave up around her, she pledged to herself to stay alive and one day work to make sure that her country never again fell into war and rather become a peaceful prosperous home to her people.
 
Professor MasudaLy will be joined on the Panel by Professor Masuda, who will be in the midst of riding his bicycle five times around Biwa Ko, researching the role of water and the inland sea plays in the lives of those who live around it.
 
Entrance Fee: ￥5,000 (includes ￥1,000 donation to HOPE)
