HOPE Clubs

What is it?
A HOPE Club is a group of 3 to 15 students dedicated to participating in the elimination of world poverty and our fight for sustainable development. A HOPE Club is encouraged to set goals to raise money in fun and imaginative ways for one or several projects each year.

A representative of the group, or HOPE Club Coordinator, is responsible for:
  • Accounting for funds raised through activities.
  • Coordinating the information within the group.
  • Informing HOPE of any changes of members.
Possible projects to sponsor (ask us for updated info):
  • A solar light for a family in Cambodia: ¥4,000
  • A Cow: ¥80,000
  • A Well: ¥100,000
  • A School: ¥3,200,000
Some ideas of how to raise funds and share your message of HOPE:
  • Car wash
  • Bake Sale
  • Sausage Sizzle
  • Concert
  • Produce a Video for the HOPE YOUTUBE CHANNEL and ask individuals and companies to pay for sponsorship. The video could then be shown at one of our big events.
  • ... Be creative!
All HOPE Club members are entitled to the same privileges as HOPE Members.
