HOPE Clubs
What is it?A HOPE Club is a group of 3 to 15 students dedicated to participating in the elimination of world poverty and our fight for sustainable development. A HOPE Club is encouraged to set goals to raise money in fun and imaginative ways for one or several projects each year.
A representative of the group, or HOPE Club Coordinator, is responsible for:
- Accounting for funds raised through activities.
- Coordinating the information within the group.
- Informing HOPE of any changes of members.
Possible projects to sponsor (ask us for updated info):
- A solar light for a family in Cambodia: ¥4,000
- A Cow: ¥80,000
- A Well: ¥100,000
- A School: ¥3,200,000
Some ideas of how to raise funds and share your message of HOPE:
- Car wash
- Bake Sale
- Sausage Sizzle
- Concert
- Produce a Video for the HOPE YOUTUBE CHANNEL and ask individuals and companies to pay for sponsorship. The video could then be shown at one of our big events.
- ... Be creative!
All HOPE Club members are entitled to the same privileges as HOPE Members.
