HOPE Night

HOPE Night is an event put on by HOPE International Development Agency - Japan. Once each month - usually on a Tuesday. HOPE and Shooters Sports Bar & Grill host this informative, yet social, event.

The "talk" is geared toward non-native English speakers, but is informative for all. Plus, there are few drinks and some finger food included. We look forward to seeing you there!

Here is a shedule of HOPE nights:
  • February 7th
  • March 6th
  • April 17th
  • May 15th
  • June 12th
The next HOPE Night will be held on February 7th from 19:00 to 21:00

Ethiopia Emergency Relief Update

Since 2007, HOPE International Development Agency has spearheaded water provision, health education and community development projects in Southern Ethiopia. After the huge drought that hit East Africa last year, the area was severely affected.  HOPE staff Kazuhiko Terao visited the area last autumn to provide emergency supplies to the people struggling to survive.

He will share with us the process of the relief activities and how famine affected the people living in the already devastated villages due to tribal conflicts in the area.
